We collect information you provide directly when you register, purchase a founder membership, or interact with our platform:

- Business name and license information (contractor accounts only)
- Account preferences and settings
We also collect limited technical data automatically, including IP address, browser type, device information, and pages visited — used solely for security and platform improvement.

4. SMS / Text Message Communications — A2P Disclosure
Program Name: KnockBlock Notifications
Program Description: KnockBlock sends text messages for the following purposes only: (1) order confirmations and purchase receipts, (2) storm alerts and weather notifications for your registered property address, (3) account and membership updates, and (4) contractor verification status notifications.
Opt-In: You consent to receive SMS messages from KnockBlock by checking the SMS consent box during checkout or account registration. Your consent to receive text messages is not required as a condition of purchase. You may complete your purchase and use KnockBlock services without opting into SMS.
Message Frequency: Message frequency varies based on account activity and weather events in your area. Under normal conditions, you may receive up to 4 messages per month. During active storm events in your registered area, frequency may temporarily increase to deliver timely alerts.
Message and Data Rates: Standard message and data rates may apply depending on your wireless carrier and plan.
Supported Carriers: AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, US Cellular, and most major US wireless carriers. Carrier support is not guaranteed for all carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
SMS Opt-In Data: Your phone number and SMS opt-in status will never be shared with, sold to, or used by any third party for marketing or advertising purposes.

- Require SMS consent as a condition of purchase or platform access
6. How We Share Information
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share limited data only with trusted service providers necessary to operate our platform:
- Stripe — payment processing
- GoHighLevel — CRM and communication platform
- Shipping and fulfillment partners — address only, for sign delivery
- Analytics providers — aggregated, non-identifiable data only

7. Your QR Code and Property Data
Your KnockBlock QR code is cryptographically unique to your account. When a contractor scans your code, we log the scan event including the time, date, and contractor identity if verified. This log is accessible to you in your account dashboard. We do not share your scan logs with any party other than you without your consent or a valid legal requirement.
8. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted data transmission (SSL/TLS), secure payment processing through Stripe, and internal access controls. No system is completely secure, but we take every reasonable measure to protect your information.
